The Veil Between” would be a great base for a screenplay. The plot is deep but crystal clear, and the pages melt away as the story unfolds.
I can see anyone relating to and enjoying this story, no matter which genre they prefer or demographic they carry. Don’t be intimidated by the length of the book - all great books are fast reads and this is no exception!
Mrs. Luque dives into the surroundings in great detail and I learned some interesting things of southern culture the Deep South. Without giving too much away (and inadvertent or not), the book touches on a subject which has strong relevance to today’s world.
This story easily stands on it’s own, but I will be purchasing books two and three as well.
“The Veil Between: The Dreamwalker Book 1” will definitely stand the test of time, and one I suggest you own in your library or kindle collection.

The Veil Between kept me on my toes! I relate to Eve. She is young and in a transition period of life, recently having graduating from high school and trying to figure out her next move in life. She has a gift that has proven to be critical for some recent events in her life, but also brings about an insular existence. Ian reminds me of my high school crush in many ways, but mostly because Ian (like my crush) is inviting but simply unavailable! When Eve unknowingly moves into a new home which exudes old-money scandal and secrecy, the plot gets crazy good and will keep you turning the page well past a sane hour of the night to get to the end. I do not want to spoil it for you. Well worth the read! 5 star! I can't wait to dive into the second book!
From beginning to end, I felt like I was in the story. Picturing every moment, feeling so real and familiar. Can't wait for the next one, need to know where dream couple goes from here.

I truly enjoyed reading "The Veil Between". One of the best books I've read and am looking forward to Book 2 and 3. I am always looking to read new authors and I believe she is well on her way to being a fantastic writer and I am watching for more of her books.
